Robbie Seay

Robbie Seay serves as EVP of Leader Development + Content at The Worship Initiative where equipping and encouraging worship leaders is his daily focus. He lives in Dallas, TX with his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth. Together they have 4 children. He is widely known for his songwriting, worship leading and recording career, which still play a big role in his life & ministry. His heart for the church and the men and women who lead worship in local churches has led him to devote much of his time and energy to mentoring young leaders/songwriters.

Josh Duncan

Josh Duncan, born and raised in Dallas, serves as the Worship Minister at Northway Church in Dallas, TX. He has been leading worship for over a decade. He has his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and his Master of Arts in Worship Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. At DBU, he met and married his wife, Laney, in 2016. They have two children: Anderson and Ryman. Josh is passionate about Scripture’s commands to “sing a new song” (Psalm 33:3, 96:1, 98:1, 144:9, and 149:1), so he is committed to putting new songs into the Church’s mouth. He leads and writes with a collective of artists and leaders from Northway under the name Northway Collective. He also partners with The Worship Initiative to equip worship leaders, writes songs for the church, and serves churches across the country. Josh whole-heartedly believes that worship is not only expressed through song—but it is also a full-life response to who God is and what He has done.

Addi Panter, an Oklahoma native, has been teaching, coaching, leading, recording, and performing in the worship vocal space for the past 25 years. With a deep passion for developing leaders, she guides worship leaders through a unique process that integrates their vocal formation with their spiritual formation, helping them live out high character and craft. Addi has been married to Caleb Panter for over 18 years, and together they reside in Dallas, TX with their two children.

Adam Westlake

Adam Westlake is a producer, songwriter, and guitarist at The Worship Initiative. He has spent the last 10 years working with artists like Shane & Shane, Phil Wickham, Jimmy Needham, The Newsboys, and Tasha Layton. In addition to his work as a guitar player, Adam works as a counselor. His passion, both in music and counseling, is to help people experience the love of God in the everyday moments of life.

Adam Prince

Adam Prince, born and raised in Dallas, Texas, is a dedicated musician with a passion for worship. Classically trained in piano, Adam’s journey took a transformative turn in his early twenties when he discovered a renewed purpose in a discipleship ministry. This experience reignited his love for music and led him to serve the church, where he found joy in leading worship. Over the years, Adam has contributed significantly to Watermark Community Church’s music ministry, writing songs featured on their records and helping to produce some of their music. He has also toured with well-known Christian artists, including Shane & Shane. Adam is passionate about equipping the church to lead worship with excellence, believing that worship is a gift for the King of the universe. Married for 18 years and a father of four, Adam continues to inspire others through his music and leadership.

Dave Keil

Dave Keil, born and raised in Huntsville, TX, is currently the VP of Events and Experiences at The Worship Initiative. He is married to Katie and has two children, Brooks (4) and Chloe (2). At an early age, Dave’s love and heart for music were evident as he served in his student ministry and any other opportunity that came his way. For the past 20 years, Dave has worked as a professional drummer, songwriter, producer, and artist manager. Some of his work has been alongside artists such as Ellie Holcomb, David Leonard, Patrick Mayberry, Andrew Peterson, Sara Groves, Breakaway Worship, Robbie Seay Band, Night Traveler, Chris Renzema, Andrew Ripp, Sandra McCracken, and many others. While Dave has a deep love for playing drums, writing songs, and event management, he also has a passion for developing and pouring into drummers and musicians and for the church.

Ethan Seay

Ethan Seay, born and raised in Houston, TX, is a multi-instrumentalist and the owner of Tone Ranger Audio, a guitar pedal manufacturer and repair shop. Ethan attended Dallas Baptist University studying Music Business and later on Communications. He resides in Dallas, TX, and is actively recording, writing, and traveling with the aim to help others sharpen their craft and calling along the way.

Heartland Visionary / Panel Discussion Host

Matt Roberson felt the call to lead worship as an 18-year-old and has been pursuing that calling ever since. He has served in multiple capacities within the local church and is currently the Lead Pastor of Marlow First Baptist Church. But the calling to lead others in worship and equip others to do the same has never been stronger. Matt has a desire to see the Heartland Conference grow into an organic gathering where thousands of people are drawn to the transforming impact of intentional time spent on worship craft and culture. He also serves as the coordinator for OBU Worship out of Oklahoma Baptist University, his alma mater. He has been married to Jennifer since 2000, and they have 2 daughters, Chloe and Claire. He loves baseball, golf, hunting, the OKC Thunder, and sushi!

Cody Dunbar

Cody Dunbar was born and raised in Oklahoma! A Sooner fan who grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, Cody found his life’s calling to worship ministry. He currently serves as worship pastor at Together We Church in Yukon, OK. He’s been blessed with a marriage of 15 years to his wife Penny and has two kids (Scotlyn, 8, and CJ, 6). For fun, you can find Cody casting a line on a good fishing lake!

Jami Smith

Jami Smith is a worship leader from Oklahoma City. For more than 20 years, she has traveled the world using music as a tool to help people connect with the Lord. Many of her songs are regularly sung in churches and played on Christian radio. Jami has released many CDs, including three Christmas CDs. She is currently celebrating the 20-year anniversary of Your Love is Deep, a beloved song with lyrics taken from Ephesians 3. The song was first released on her 2001 CD, Home, which was a live recording at her alma mater, Oklahoma Baptist University. The song was re-released on her CD Wash Over Me, where other well-known songs like Salt and Light can be found.

Dr. Matthew Boswell serves as Assistant Professor of Church Music and Worship at Southern Seminary. Dr. Boswell is a respected hymn writer and a leading figure in church music. He is also the founding pastor of The Trails Church in Prosper, Texas. Before founding The Trails Church in 2018, Dr. Boswell served as Worship Pastor at Providence Church in Frisco, Texas (2011-2018), and Fellowship of the Parks in Keller, Texas (2002-2011). Dr. Boswell continues to pastor The Trails Church while teaching at Southern. He is married to Jamie, and they have four children.
